LAHORE – Pakistan’s Ali Fawad has secured the top position in the national horseback archery rankings, further cementing his status as one of the country’s most accomplished athletes in the sport. Fawad is one of the Pakistani horseback archers to have represented the country in every internationally recognised competition format. He has captained Pakistan at major events in the United States, Russia and Indonesia, while also recording the country’s highest scores across all formats, including Pakistan’s best-ever performance at the World Horseback Archery Championships. Beyond his competitive achievements, Fawad has played a key role in promoting the sport. He recently organised Pakistan’s first 2-Star Record and Ranking International Competition, enabling 15 Pakistani athletes to earn places on the world rankings for the first time. Serving as the Asian Development Head of the International Horseback Archery Alliance, Fawad has also led and supported numerous competitions across Asia. Together with his teammates, he has won international medals and continues to work towards establishing Pakistan as a regional centre of excellence and a leading force in horseback archery.
