GUJAR KHAN – Jatli police of Gujar Khan tehsil have traced the blind murder of a cattle farm employee and arrested two suspects, including the farm owner, while also apprehending a proclaimed offender wanted in a murder, attempted murder and hurt case.
According to police, the body of cattle farm employee Farhan was found near the farm around three weeks ago, following which a case was registered on the police complaint. During the investigation, police expanded the scope of inquiry and found evidence allegedly linking the farm owner and his accomplice to the murder.
Police said the suspects allegedly shot Farhan dead over a financial dispute. Both suspects were subsequently arrested after evidence surfaced against them during the investigation.
In a separate action, Jatli police also arrested a proclaimed offender who had allegedly been wanted since August 2023 in a case involving murder, attempted murder and causing hurt. Police said the suspect, along with his accomplices, had allegedly opened fire over a personal grudge, killing one citizen and injuring another. Three of his alleged accomplices had already been arrested, while the proclaimed offender was apprehended with the help of technical and human intelligence.
ASP Gujar Khan Syed Danial Hassan said the Jatli police had made significant progress in both cases through effective investigation and the use of modern investigative techniques. He said the arrested suspects would be challaned before the courts on the basis of solid evidence and every effort would be made to ensure that the accused were brought to justice according to law.
